Dog Bites

Generally, the owner of a dog that bites a person is liable for any damages suffered by the person bitten. Damages may be "economic losses," such as medical expenses, loss of wages or lost earning potential, and miscellaneous expenses. Damages may also include "noneconomic losses" such as pain, suffering, inconvenience, physical impairment and disability, and physical disfigurement.
